About DST-FIST
The DST-FIST Scheme is intended to provide basic infrastructure and enabling facilities for promoting R&D activities in new and emerging areas and attracting fresh talents in universities & other educational institutions. It is considered as complimentary support for enabling Departments/ Centres/ Schools/ Colleges to pursue research activities more effectively and efficiently.
DST-FIST Facility at MKJC
Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi is proud to be one of the recipient of the DST-FIST and receive a grant worth Rs. 95L. Facilities that are enabled at our Institution under this scheme include
- Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry
- High Performance Liquid Chromatography
- Flame Photometry
- Auotomatic Biochemical Analyser
- Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction
- Biocomputation facility
These facilities are made available for Faculty, Scholars and Students in-house and other Academic Institutions and Research Personnels from Industries in and around Vaniyambadi and nearby places for their research purposes.
